Caring for your hot tub
Caring for your hot tub is easy and should take just a couple of minutes a day. It will become as routine as cleaning your teeth!
When you purchase your hot tub you will need a full chemical kit. This includes everything you need to maintain water quality.
A couple of times a week you need to test the water with a test strip. The test strip indicates the water balance and will tell you if you need to add anything. Generally you will need to put a chlorine tab into the filter a couple of times a week, this will vary depending on how often you use the hot tub. Occasionally the pH or alkalinity will change and you'll need to put the relevant chemical into the water to correct the balance.
Make sure the water level is maintained. Once a week check the ozonator is working.
A few minutes care and attention will keep your hot tub in good working condition giving you years of enjoyment.
